"Music is really just love stories put to a melody." Taylor Swift's music defines who I am. I am seventeen years young, and five feet short. I'm currently a senior in highschool, and while I hate it most of the time, sometimes it's alright. I love making new friends, and I try really hard to be nice to people, even if I don't like them. I'm located in New Jersey, and am an avid hockey fan. Hockey, Movies, Music, My friends, Taylor Swift, Fashion, Writing.. They're all my passions in life. When I "grow up" I want to be a magazine editor, and live in New York. I plan on marrying a hockey player, as well. Right now I work at the local ice rink, which is good for me, considering I'm quite boy crazy.

These past few years have been crazy for me, and without Taylor Swift, they probably would have been crazier. I've gone through heartbreak, unrequited love (story of my life), handsome princes, the like. And even when I want to give up on fairy tales, I know I can't, because if Taylor says they can come true, then they can. Some random facts about me: I'm a huge movie freak, and when I'm not at/watching a game, I'm watching a movie. I'm sarcastic, and I'm blunt. But I'm a good listener. I talk too much. I have superpoke wars with my best friends. I believe in love stories. I love romance. Like Chance, I'm a romantic. I write. A lot.

When I first had this "crazy idea" of creating a style site, I needed a partner in crime. And thank God Chance stepped up to be that person. Without her, this site would be like, nothing, because I procrastinate too much. :P I absolutely love this site to death, though, I'm not even going to lie. I've come to know so many people from it, and I love them. As for my personal style, I don't dress up much. I keep it casual in jeans or leggings and a cute top. I like to shop, but I hate trying clothes on. My guilty pleasure are heels, purses, and perfumes, I'm not even going to lie. I own over nine pairs of heels that I walk around the house in. My dream is to aquire a pair of Christian Louboutin heels.

I talk. A lot. And yes, this will be long. If you're my friend, you might call me quirky. And sarcastic. And honest. And pretty much everything I do in life is a mixture of those three things. I abandonned the mothership for earth on May 16th 1993, making me fifteen going on sixteen as the 'Sound of Music' song goes. Which might tell you three things: I love music(als), no matter how cynical I initially seem, I actually think the world is a great place and that yes, at heart, underneathe, I'm a romantic. Oh, and I'm British. I'm from Liverpool, where people have roughly 40% less chance of having a high-paid career, often because of our strange northern mannerisms and accent. I hope I beat that statistic.

I began working for DLT when ironically enough, Emily offered to help out at the now hiatused ezine I was setting up, Change. I'd been an on and off visitor of her site for a long time, commenting every now and then like you tend to do in the blogoshpere. But then I noticed she was advertising for a co-webmistress for a Taylor Swift fashion site. Although I'm no fashionista, I'm a huge Taylor fan, can work photoshop and can code websites. And I'm a huge Taylor fan. So I asked, I recieved and I've been attached ever since.

In case you're wondering, I don't really have a set sense of style. I pretty much live in jeans, usually with a tee or a short dress, and then my flats or my converse. My biggest vice is probably my hair. I can brush, moan and cry about it for hours. It's that awkward colour between brown and blonde that is not quite either. It was blonde when I was small, but now it's darkened to a mousy brown that I really hate. And is so thick that when not blowdried by a professional or straightened is so bushy it gives Tina Turner a run for her money. I cut it pretty short last year (Short hair and bushy hair? Bad combo) so now I'm growing it long and waiting for the day I can dye it dark brown without my mother killing me.

I'm pretty shy and quiet the rest of the time and that annoys me. :] I'm in high school and don't really like it there. I love reading books like Twilight (just like every other teenage girl). Okay guys here's the skinny: My names Cherilyn. I am sixteen soon to be seventeen, which makes me a junior in high school. I am absolutely in love with film, music, & fashion. I am extremely sarcastic and I quote The Office and Friends way to much for the average human. Blink-182 is my all time favorite band. They're amazing. I aspire to be a filmmaker sometime in the near future. Twitter is the best thing in the world. I'm always tweeting and checking on my tweeps ;). I'm not gonna lie, I'm kind of a Star Wars nerd and I won't hide it. I have dance parties with myself and my nails are always painted red.

I am really excited to begin working on DLT. I've been a fan of the site for a really long time and I just love Taylor and her music and style. Oh! And especially I adore her hair. Oh man she has some gorgeous hair. I haven't been to one of her concerts though :( her tickets sold out WAY to fast. Not okay... anyways! Hey, I'm Hollie. I live in Australia, and I should be far more sophisticated than I am. My life is pretty much dominated by country music. My favourite musicians are Taylor Swift, Bon Jovi, Paramore and Johnny Cash. My idea of perfect is alone time with a guitar. I write songs about my life, so if I know you, there's probably one about you. Country music is my jam. I don't think you should ever underestimate the power of music.
