Make Up 32: Leaving London Hotel - 2009

.) Start by washing your face to remove any traces of oil, dirt or makeup, and pat your face dry. Apply a foundation that matches your skin tone to your face in downwards strokes, using a sponge, not your fingers. Remember to blend into your hairline, the side of your face, and under your chin to avoid makeup lines.

.) Take a light pink, matte eye shadow and apply it to your eyelid using a brush, blending to just above your crease, and just past the outer corner of your eye. Now, using a matte grey, apply it to the outer corner of your eye, along the crease and a little way along the lash line. This should create a ‘v’ shape.

.) Using a liquid eyeliner (for best results), draw a fairly thick line along your top lash line. The best way to do this is to close your eye, start in the middle of your lash line, and pull the applicator across. Continue the line a little after your eye stops to create a wing, like Taylor’s. Now go back and fill in the line, drawing from the middle to the inner corner of your eye.

.) Using a light rose pink blush, blend it into the apples of your cheeks and upwards onto your cheek bones.

.) Take a black or brown pencil eyeliner and line the bottom line of your lashes, keeping it as close to the line as possible. Apply three coats of black mascara to your top lashes, allowing them to dry in between, and one coat to the bottom lashes.

.) Apply a peach lipstick or lip balm to your lips.
