.) Start by washing your face, removing any traces of oil, dirt or makeup, and pat dry. Apply a foundation that matches your skin tone (it shouldnt change the colour of your face, just mask any imperfections) in light, downward strokes to your face, using a sponge or brush. Dont use your fingers, your foundation will appear too thick and extremely unnatural.
.) Cover your eyelid with a shimmery or pearlescent champagne colour, highlight the inner corner of your eye, and drag the colour all the way under your eye, creating a wide but light line that reaches the outer corner of your eye.
.) Take a brown eyeliner and apply it all the way along your lower lash line, keeping it as close to the lash line as you can. Continue this line around the inner corner of your eye, where your tear duct is. Now, using a black liquid eyeliner, draw a line along your top lashes. Keep it fairly thin, because it will most likely not be perfect and will need touching up. Apply a coat of black mascara to your top lashes, curl with an eyelash curler, and apply another coat. Apply one coat to your lower lashes.
.) Take a rose blush and put some of the colour on your brush. Gently tap the brush against your hand to remove excess colour and sweep it from the apples of your cheeks along your cheekbones, dragging a little of the colour into the hollows of your cheeks. Now, taking a light, shimmery powder (you can use a white eyeshadow if its all you have) sweep it across your forehead, down your nose and over your lips onto your chin.
.) Because you will be using such a vibrant colour on your lips, you have to take precautions to stop it from bleeding everywhere (this means smudging outside your lip line). Take a clear lip liner and draw the line around your lips. Now, using a lip brush, take some of the colour and draw the same line over the lip liner. Now colour in your lips with the lipstick, ensuring you do not go outside the line you have previously drawn.
